Between the Covers Fact Sheet

Here's a brief synopsis on Hartley Public Library's Book Club.

Begun April 14, 2009 in the back meeting room of the Hartley Public Library.

First book reviewed: "The Chocolate Chip Cookie Mystery" by Joanne Fluke.

Mission: To bring readers out of their comfort zone and tackle books they would not normally try, and to have an enjoyable time while doing it!

Members: 15-17

Meetings: Held monthly; the last Tuesday of the month; from 7-8 p.m.  Format includes facilitator asking  questions and discussion follows.  Everyone joins is as they like.  No one is called upon. 

Treats: Prior sign-up if you wish to contribute.

Books supplied by the Library.  Some of the past titles include: Dewey, The Shack, My Antonia, Gone with the Wind, The Help, Gap Creek and more.

December is our Christmas party.

New members are welcome. No registration, just show up at the back door!

All books are owned by the library and available for check-out in the library.

Donations are always accepted:)

Donations are used for postage and to order additional books as needed.
