“Everything Here is Beautiful” Book Discussion Debuts in August. To introduce Hartley Public Library as a member of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) book lovers wanting to discuss a novel that delves into characters with health issues like “Left Neglected” or “Still Alice” can pick up a book at the library and meet for the discussion at 2:00 p.m. on August 20. August's selection is “Everything Here is Beautiful” by Mira T. Lee, a “dazzling novel of two sisters and their emotional journey through love, loyalty, and heartbreak”. “When mental illness takes hold, it threatens to derail the life of Lucia, as well as the lives of everyone she loves. Miranda tries to rescue her sister-but only Lucia can decide whether she wants to be saved.” If you enjoy a good novel that delves into mental or physical health situations you’re invited to stop by the library. Discussion is limited to seven participants and those attending will receive a free copy of the book.
