Charlene Elyea, O’Brien County naturalist, will be at Hartley Public Library at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12. Charlene’s program “Living in Iowa” will look at the state of Iowa, one of the most changed landscapes in the nation. She’ll be taking a look through the lens of time at how the plants, animals, people, and land of our state have transformed through the years. What will the future hold? Join us and find out during this thought-provoking program. This presentation will also provide an introduction to a temporary exhibit of the same name in the lower level of the Prairie Heritage Center on display through June.
